Building a kiosk started off as giving a childhood memory of mine a physical form. The initial intention of the structure was to convey the warm feeling of a nice childhood memory that remains untainted as you grow up.
As the construction went on I started doing 'mini-projects' with the kiosk-like writing on the walls, doing lino printing, and weaving something which I intended to put inside. I started thinking a lot more about the practicality of the structure and how versatile it is. With time it became a communal space for collaboration, making, and exhibiting work.

It is an ongoing project which has its own website. Click here to go to it :)
